Method

My method, PRACTISE, combines legal and policy rigour with practical clarity — rooted in public procurement experience and shaped by private sector realities. It delivers actionable steps that work whether you're an SME or a multinational.

PRACTISE stands for:

  • Prioritise what matters

  • Review the gaps

  • Act with purpose

  • Collaborate across silos

  • Train your teams

  • Integrate stakeholder feedback

  • Show progress with targets & indicators

  • Evolve as regulations and realities shift

Pillars

Across public procurement, corporate sustainability, and responsible contracting, I’ve been in the rooms where human rights due diligence expectations are shaped and in the trenches where they're implemented.

These four pillars (only visible on desktop) reflect my unique combination of legal expertise, policy know-how, and real-world experience. They’re the reason clients trust me to turn complexity into clarity — and ambition into action.

Human Rights Lawyer

I’ve worked with human rights for nearly 15 years and have been a lawyer for almost 20, meaning I have:

  • An approach rooted in int'l human rights law

  • Expertise in UNGPs, OECD Guidelines, CSDDD and other legislations

  • The ability to bridge the gap between legal obligations and operational realities

I help clients stay ahead of regulation — without drowning in legalese.

Public Procurement Strategist

I’ve operationalised human rights and environmental due diligence in the Swedish public sector, including:

  • Contract clauses that survive legal scrutiny

  • Risk frameworks trusted by buyers and suppliers

  • Capacity-building tools used at scale

I know what buyers expect — because I helped them build the expectations.

Corporate Insider

At Vattenfall, a major utility, I navigated the high-risk sectors wind, solar and batteries, which means:

  • I know the real-life constraints of sourcing, legal review, and board pressure

  • I understand how internal silos work — and how to break them

  • I’ve seen what doesn’t work in due diligence from within

That means my advice isn’t theoretical — it’s operational.

Responsible Contracting Leader

I'm affiliated to the Responsible Contracting Project, where I help shape:

  • European model clauses

  • Sector specific model clauses

  • Public sector model clauses

I'm not reacting to regulation — I'm helping define how it gets applied.
